Tabor City - Mrs. Viola Grainger Fowler, 78, of Tabor City, died in Columbus County Hospital, Whiteville, Thursday. She was the daughter of the late George W. and Nancy Prince Grainger. Final rites were held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Tabor City Baptist Church by the Revs. Henry Foster and Gwenn McCormick, with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Hartford Fowler; two daughters, Mrs. James Warlick of Whiteville and Mrs. Harry Price of New Bern; three sisters, Mrs. Glenn Todd, Loris, S.C., Mrs. Balsoria Blackburn of Wilmington and Mrs. Minnie Littleford of Arlington, Va.; and five grandchildren.
