She married the love of her life, Robert ('Bob') G. Lynn, on June 19, 1948. They made their home in Mar Vista, CA and moved to Sacramento (Arden Park) in 1958 where they resided for 33 years before moving to Deterding Ranch in Carmichael. Mimi was preceded in death by her parents Justin and Lottie 'Harthorn' Snow of Fillmore; her brothers Lysle Snow and Donald (& his wife Bonnie) Snow. Mimi is survived by her husband (of 62+ years), Robert G. Lynn; sister-in-law, Ruth Snow; daughter, Susan Joy Bristow (Richard) and their son Robert John Bristow and daughter, Heatherlee Englehart (Shawn) and their daughters Tori, Madison and Sophie, and daughter Jennifer Bristow and her daughter, Courtney; son, R. Gary Lynn (Janice) and their son, Robbie, and daughter, Kelsey; son, James B. Lynn (Julie) and their daughter, Monica, and son, Brian; son, R. Casey Lynn (Karen) and their sons, Justin and Michael.
Along with raising her four children, she spent 6 years teaching pre-school under the Headstart program at Edward Kelly School (1960s), she sold real-estate and also helped her husband and sons in their oil consulting business. Most of all, she will be remembered as a wonderful person and the world's best wife, mom, grandma, great grandma and friend to all.
The family wishes to thank the caregivers from Help at Home, Inc. and the support of Vitas Hospice. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on April 22, 2011 (Fri) at Mt. Vernon Chapel, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, followed by a reception at Carmichael Presbyterian Church, 5645 Marconi Avenue. Prior to the service, a viewing will occur from 10:30 to 11:30am.
