Kris Adams, 40, of North Vernon, Indiana passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at his residence.
Mr. Adams was born December 9, 1970 in Middletown, Ohio, the son of Sterling and Shelby Johnson Adams.
Mr. Adams was a Veteran of the U.S. Army who served in Germany during Desert Storm. He was employed at Lee's Trucking for 17 years. Kris was a 1989 graduate of Carlisle High School in Carlisle, Ohio. He was also a member of First Baptist Church in North Vernon, Indiana and enjoyed fishing, 4-wheeling and riding motorcycles.
He is survived by his parents; one sister, Vicki Cole of North Vernon; two nieces, Bridget Kincaid and Brandy Brimmer of North Vernon; one nephew, Tyler Tooley of Franklin, Ohio; one great-niece, Peighton of North Vernon; and three great-nephews, Daniel, Layton, and Ethan all of North Vernon.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Kerry Adams.
Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon, Indiana with the Rev. Bob Weeks officiating. Friends may call at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service on Wednesday. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery with members of Matt Hester Post #2021 V.F.W. providing military graveside rites.
