Mr. Donald T. Burke, 84, of Murray, Ky, died Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 8:45 a.m. at the Spring Creek Health care facility in Murray, KY. Mr. Burke was born in Norwalk, CT. on October 2, 1926 to the late Alphonse and Ann Marie May Burke. Mr. Burke was a member of the St. Leo Catholic Church in Murray as well as a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, and an Army Air Force Veteran of WWII.

In addition to her parents, Mr. Burke was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Rudolph, and one brother, Jack Burke.

Mr. Burke is survived by his wife, Theresa R. Burke, of Murray, KY; two daughters, Mary Ann Christian (Nicholas) of Troy, N.Y., and Erin M. Smith (Brian R.) of Murray, Ky; two sons, Matthew Burke of Frankfort, Ky., and Jonathon Burke (Kelley) of Hilton Head, S.C.,as well as six grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on April 21, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2011 at the St. Leo Catholic Church with Father Jason McClure officiating.
