Ronald K. Beck, 68, of Littleton, Colorado, died on Sunday, February 27, 2000, in Littleton [Colorado].
Services were held at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church on Wednesday, March 1, 2000.
Ron was born January 30, 1932 in Oxford, Nebraska, the son of William Frederick and Elsie [Grosse] Beck. He was baptized and confirmed in St. John's Lutheran Church of Oxford. He graduated from Oxford High School and received his Bachelor of Science dgree from the University of Wyoming.
On June 5, 1955, he was united in marriage to Malinda Wendland of Arapahoe. To this union was born a daughter, Lorna, and a son, Brian.
He worked for the Amoco Production Co. as a purchasing manager for many years. He served his country during the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Survivors include his son, Brian and wife, Donna; a sister, Eunice Jochens and husband, Carl, of Alma; brother, Harold and wife, Barbara, of Holdrege and other friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Malinda in 1994 and daughter, Lorna.
Graveside services were held in Oxford on March 3, 2000 with Rev. George Naylor, officiating.
