Her husband married a young widow Katurah A "Kate" Guild Billingslea on Jan 12, 1853, in Tuskegee, Macon Co, Alabama. She had one child, W.H. McIntosh, Jr, in 1854, and died 16 days later. Kate was the sister of Dr Lafayette Guild and the sister-in-law of Rev A.J. Battle.
