MUNCIE - Rosemary Reese, 81, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at Liberty Village Health Care.

She was born January 10, 1928 in Marion the daughter of Forrest G. and Goldia Mary (Soultz) Peas. Rosemary was a graduate of Marion High School.

She retired from Dobbs Mathew Shoe Store. She also had worked at Young Shoes and in the sixty's at Imperial Cabinets.

Rosemary did volunteer work at Ball Memorial Hospital.

She loved to travel and go to Gatlinburg, TN.

Rosemary is survived by one daughter, Mary Anna McKenzie, (husband-James); one granddaughter, Jennifer Eytchison, (husband-Joe); one grandson, James R. McKenzie, (wife-Alena); three great grandchildren, Aiden, Samantha and Jacob; two nephews, Richard Bowen, Vero Beach, FL and John R. Bowen, Charlotte, NC; several great nephews and several cousins living in the Fairmont and Jonesboro areas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene Reese; a son, Wally Blackberby; and a sister, Anna Catherine Barfield.

Services will be held 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2009 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel.

Burial will follow in Estates of Serenity Cemetery, Marion.

Friends may call from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel.
