Mrs. Faye B. Miley 62, of Grand Bay, AL passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011 in Mobile, AL. She was born October 17, 1948 in Magee, MS. Mrs. Miley was a retired RN, worked as a paramedic instructor, and worked in the trauma centers at USA Medical Center and Providence Hospitals E.R.. She was also a member of Theodore UPC in Theodore, AL.
Mrs. Miley was preceded in death by her mother, Rachel Burch, son-in-law, Lance R. Holtzman, and her favorite uncle, James Elton Burch.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Lanny Miley; daughters, Lanea (Larry) Williams, and Joelyon "Joe" Holtzman; grandson, Landon Stafford; father, Rev. Q.T. Burch; Thomas Mitchell Burch, to whom she considered her son; Andrea and Jason Pugh, to whom she considered her grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Mrs. Miley will be Saturday, April 23, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa-, LA. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Michael Trosclair and Rev. Randall Magee officiating. Interment will follow at Stateline Cemetery in Stateline, MS.
