Son of Charles Henry Abrams and Gertrude E. Hawkins, husband of Eunice Maude Biggs and father of Ray Hamilton and Pearl Genevieve Abrams (married William Henry Hargreaves).

In 1880, Frankie Abrams, aged 6, was living in Brookhaven, NY, in the home of his parents, Charles Abrams, aged 25, and Gertie Abrams, aged 23, and his brother, Ralph Abrams, aged 3. His father was shown to be a bayman.

In 1900, Franklin Abrams, aged 26, was living in Brookhaven, NY, with his wife, Eunice Maude Abrams, aged 24, to whom he had been married 4 years, and children, Ray Hamilton Abrams, aged 3, and Pearl G. Abrams, aged eleven months.

In 1910, B. Frank Abrams, 36, was living on Maple Avenue, Patchogue, NY with his wife, Eunice M., 34, and children, Ray H., 13, and Pearl G. Abrams, aged 10. He was shown to be a clerk in a department store.

On September 12, 1918, Benjamin Franklin Abrams, aged 44, stated that he was born on October 25, 1873, was living at 155 Maple Avenue, Patchogue, NY, and was working as a salesman for George Rogers at Academy Street, Patchogue, and that was married to Eunice M. of the same Maple Avenue address, when he registered for the draft during World War I.

In 1920, Benjamin F. Abrams, aged 46, was living on Maple avenue, Brookhaven, NY, with his wife, Eunice M. Abrams, aged 44, and children Ray H. Abrams, aged 23, and Pearl Abrams, aged 20. Also living in the household was his mother-in-law, Phebe Biggs, aged 81. Benjamin was shown to be the manager of a grocery store.

In 1942, B. Frank Abrams, father of Ray Hamilton Abrams, was shown living in Patchogue, NY, as reported by his son on his draft registration during World War II.

Obituary - Benjamin Franklin Abrams, of 7 South Street, Patchogue, died last Thursday at the Sayville Nursing Home after an extended illness.

Born in Blue Point, he lived in this vicinity all his life. He was deacon emeritus of the First Baptist Church of Patchogue.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William H. Hargreaves, of East Patchogue; a son, Ray H. Abrams, of Lansdowne, Pa.; a brother, Ralph Abrams, of Blue Point, and a sister, Mrs. Harry Beare, of Patchogue.

The body reposed at the Pettit Funeral Home, Patchogue, until 2 p.m. Saturday when services were held at the First Baptist Church of Patchogue with the Rev. John E. Southard officiating. Interment was in the Blue Point Cemetery.

There were two different Benjamin Franklin Abrams, born 1873, died 1956. Not to be confused with the blacksmith from Huntington, NY.
