D. L. Bowen Dead
The remains of Mr. Dempsey L. Bowen who died in Winston on Saturday arrived here Monday night, accompanied by his brother, Mr. Jesse Bowen, and were taken to the old homestead on the Acre, Tuesday morning for interment.
The deceased was 24 years old, and lived at one time, with his father, Mr. Wm. J. Bowen, in this town. He was a brother to Mrs. A. M. Ayers, of this town, and Mrs. J. E. C. Johnston, of Roper. Our sympathies are with the bereaved.
