Mrs. Adams died Monday, Jan. 25, 1993, at Sterling Heights Nursing Home.
She was born March 21, 1906, at Wane Township, Mo., to Bert and Elizabeth Jane Toothman Hartman.
Mrs. Adams worked at the Lawrence Box Factory in the 1940s and 1950s.
She married William S. Ray and moved to Lawrence in the early 1920s. He preceded her in death in 1952.
She is survived by three sons, Paul Ray, Lawrence, and Art Ray and Harold Ray of Golden, Colo.; a daughter, Kathrine Haas, Lawrence; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
