CANTON - Mary Zelma Garzee, 93, of 129 S. First Ave. died at 2:35 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2001, at Sunset Manor Nursing Home.

Born Jan. 10, 1908, in Peoria to George and Lillian M. Caulflower Cruse.

She married Claude D. Garzee on Jan. 4, 1927, in Quincy. He died Oct. 21, 1974.

She also was preceded in death by one brother and five sisters.

Surviving are one son, Claude of Canton; two daughters, Pauline White of Greenville, Kentucky, and Colleen (and Roger) Harris of Canton; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and six great-greatgrandchildren.

She and her husband worked for Murphy Memorial Home and later for Oaks-Hines Funeral Home.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Canton.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton, where visitation will be one hour before. The Rev. Keith Jones will officiate. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens.

Memorials may be made to any charity.
