Born May 6, 1917, in Fleetwood, he was a son of the late William and Cora (Wilkerson) Keller.
He was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Zion's Union Church, Maxatawny.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. From 1933 until his retirement in 1980, he worked as a press operator for Caloric Corporation at its former Topton plant.
He was a member of Lehigh Lodge 326, F.&A.M. and a 45 year member of International Molders and Allied Workers Union. He was an avid bow and arrow hunter for many years.
Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Gale G. (Keller), wife of Glenroy Wiltrout, Bowers, and Joann R. Keller Thomsen, Mohnton.
Other survivors include sisters, Alberta (Keller) Adams and Dora (Keller) Dierolf, both of Fleetwood; brothers: Lindy Keller, Mertztown, Ronald Keller, Trexlertown, and Leo Keller, Fleetwood. In addition, there are two grandchildren, Gary, husband of Lisa Wiltrout, and Holly Wiltrout; three great-grand-children, Jonathan, Michael and Samantha Wiltrout; stepgrandson, Ryan Morris, and a great-granddaughter, Delilah.
Funeral services Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown, with military honors provided by Ray A. Master Post 217 American Legion, Topton. Friends may call Wednesday, 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in the funeral home. Masonic services at 10:15 a.m.
