GLOUCESTER - Ollie Mae Howlett, 93, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2011 in Walter Reed Convalescent Center.

She was born in Mathews County and was the daughter of the late John Arthur and Sadie Belle Morgan Hudgins; and the widow of Malvin L. 'Buster' Howlett.

She was a member of Bellamy United Methodist Church and retired from Ark Dairy Freeze.

She is survived by her children, Peggy Ann Hogge, Diane Carol Elias, and Jerry Wayne Howlett; her grandchildren, Lorraine Smith, Candace Keefer, Tammy Mendez, Sandra Elias, Michael Hogge, and Kandel Sha; and her great-grandchildren, Jason Smith, Ashley, Kelsey, Zachary, Savannah Elias, Chayanna Mendez, and Brayden Hogge.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011, by the Rev. Kenneth Waclo, at Bellamy Memorial Cemetery.
