Sue Alice Morris Davis, age 73, of Rensselaer, Indiana and formerly of Scottsboro passed away Sunday, April 3, 2011 at the Rensselaer Care Center. Sue had been a resident of Rensselaer for the past 14 months. Prior to moving to Indiana, she had been a resident of Alabama for the past 30 years.

Sue was born January 8, 1938, in Estillfork, the daughter of Samuel and Moranda Jane (Sisk) Morris. Her marriage was on February 6, 1954 in Tishamingo, Mississippi, to Glen Leon Davis who passed away April 22, 2000.

Surviving is her daughter, Glenda (Mike) James of Rensselaer; her son, Michael (Diane) Davis of Battle Creek, Michigan; three grandchildren, Joshua and Justin Davis and Angela Vest; one great grandchild, Hannah Vest; brother, J. C. Morris of Hazelcrest, Illinois; sisters, LuAnna (L.G.) Henshaw of Paint Rock and Dorothy (Bobby) Maples of Hollytree.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and five sisters.

Sue attended the school in Princeton. She was a homemaker and a member of the Apostolic Faith Assembly Pentecostal Church of Mt. Ayr, Indiana, and formerly a member of New Life Apostolic Church in Scottsboro.

On Saturday, April 9, 2011 friends may call at the Scottsboro Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Norman Ingram and Michael E. James officiating. Interment will be at Sisk Cemetery in Estillfork.

Memorials may be made to the New Life Apostolic Church in Scottsboro.
