As an infant Chuckie was christened at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and later served as an Alter Boy at All Hallows Catholic Church both in San Francisco. Chuckie graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, he was a Certified heavy Equipment Operator and a member of AFL-CIO, Operating Engineers Local No. 3 for thirty plus year.

Chuckie enjoyed working on cars, cooking and fishing. Chuckie loved to boast that he was the greatest fisherman and won the family fishing trophy to prove it. Chuckie cherished the time spend with his children and family.

Chuckie's spirit was one of kindness, generosity and willingness to help others. With such a gentle heart and lively spirit you could not help being drawn to him and his great sense of humor. Always one ready to tell a joke he was loved by all.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred E. DeLavallade Armstrong. He leaves to cherish his memory his father Louis J. Armstrong, Sr. Nine brother and sisters, Barbara Armstrong Walls, Louis Armstrong Jr, Patricia Armstrong Watkins, Brenda Williams, Mary Armstrong, Lionel Armstrong, Carolyn Tanksley, Charles Armstrong and Charlene Armstrong. two daughters Dana and La Trell, two sons Lateef and Preston also two other sons Jesenus King and Alonzo Lucky who he cared and loved as his own, two Granddaughters Nikita and Asia Lewis,and Great-Grandson Kaddo Julian. His niece Rosalind Johnson whom was raised as a sister, his God Daughter and niece Wanda Materre. Two Aunts Florence Brown of San Francisco,CA, Catherine DeLavallade of New Orleans,LA One Uncle, Roscoe Allen (Edna) of Altadena, CA., Special friends, Dana Washington Armstrong, Chryl Kyer, Pat Webb Armstrong and Cheryl Weaks. He also leaves many other relatives and friends. Rest in Peace...
