Allen Levi Byrd, 71, of Fulton, died May 1, 1982 at Itawamba County Hospital. He was a retired farmer and a member of Southside Baptist Church. Services were held May 2 at the Senter Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Survivors included his wife, Mrs. Audra Byrd of Fulton; two daughters, Mrs. Wanda Moore of Fulton and Mrs. Diane Bruff of Mantachie; four sons, D. C. Byrd, Douglas Weir Byrd and Don Byrd, all of Fulton, and Euple Byrd of Birmingham, Ala.; a sister, Mrs. Mae Sabentini of Brooklyn, N.Y.; six brothers, Johnny Henry Byrd of Hamilton, Ala., Rufus Byrd of Sulligent, Ala., Noah Byrd and Delmer Byrd, both of Tupelo, Jay Byrd of Sunnymead, Calif., and Earnest Byrd of Blytheville, Ark.; a half brother, Charles Byrd of Hamilton, Ala.; two half sisters, Mrs.Jewel Frederick of Hamilton, Ala., and Mrs. Julia Holcomb of Sulligent; 12 grandchildren.
