Blanche I. McGill Bodesheim, 2101 Sandy Lake-Grove City Road, Worth Township, died at 10 p.m. Saturday (7-22-00) from injuries sustained in a two-car crash at Millbrook Road and Route 173, Worth Township. She was 70.
Mrs. Bodesheim was born Oct. 3, 1929, in New Castle to Leroy D. and Elnora Margaret McCormick McGill.
A 1946 alumna of the former Sandy Lake High School, she graduated from Grove City College in 1950 and retired in 1986 from Lakeview High School, where she taught business classes including accounting, typing and computers since 1965.
Mrs. Bodesheim also served as secretary for Worth Township supervisors from 1981-98.
She was a member of Church of the Beloved Disciple, Grove City.
Mrs. Bodesheim enjoyed quilting and traveling.
Her first husband, Stephen Polkabla, whom she married Aug. 25, 1951, died March 5, 1973.
