She was born May 9, 1924, in Obion County,Tenn.,daughter of Jessie and Mary Fobar Priest. She and William Raymond Brown were married March 20, 1941. He died December 31, 1980. Brown was a member of Full Gospel Church.
Survivors include two sons, Lionell Brown of East Prairie, Raymond Brown of Sikeston; a daughter, Peggy Benson of East Prairie; a brother Charles Priest of Cape Girardeau; six sisters, Ann Duty and Aline Tompkins of East Prairie, Helen Sanders and Nell Mainord of Cape Girardeau, Jessalean Ray of Clinton, Ky., Edith Clark of Oklahoma, and four grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Shelby Funeral Chapel. Mike Johnson and Burl Britt will officiate, with burial in Anniston Cemetery at Anniston.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
