The sad intelligence has been received here of the death of Earl Julian Bassett, son of Prof, and Mrs. J. A. Bassett. His death came from a complication of diseases due to Southern malaria, and occurred Saturday last.
Deceased was twenty-six years of age and passed his youth in this village.
