Lillian M. Arter, 84, of 120 Walnut St., Columbia, last employed as a kitchen worker for Foresters of America Lodge in Columbia, died Wednesday morning at Columbia Hospital after a long illness.
Her husband, the late Frank W. Arter, died in 1966.
Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Bertha Yeanish Clark.
Surviving is a son, Franklin H., Myrtle Beach, S.C.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters: Kathryn Biagio and Pearl Clark, both of Columbia; and Mary Fletcher, Newtown; and one brother, Gardiner Clark, Columbia.
