Funeral Services were held Tuesday at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home in French Lick for Russell Fowler Royer, 49, French Lick, who died Saturday at his residence.
Born June 13, 1961, in French Lick, he was the son of Donald Royer and Joyce Lashbrooks Underwood. He married Tabitha Toliver, and she survives.
He served in the Army.
Survivors include his parents, Donald Royer of Paoli and Joyce Underwood of Huntingburg: two sons, Zachary Royer and Wyatt Royer, both of Riverview, Fl; two daughters Dakota Royer and Jovanna Royer, both of French Lick; three brothers, Butch Royer and Jason Royer both of Dubois, and Harry Day of Huntingburg. Five sisters, Rebecca Hill and Tina Pierce, both of French Lick, Carla Royer of Jasper, Angie Royer of Huntingburg and Dianna Jackson of Coquille, OR; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother Danny Royer.
Officiating the service was John Moffatt. Burial was at Mount Lebanon Cemetery in French Lick, and full military rites were accorded by American Legion Walter Benson Post 76 of French Lick. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the children of the deceased.
