Edison - Funeral Services for John R Demarest Jr, 32, of 17 Lloyd Ave, Nixon section, will be private. Internment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, New Brunswick.

Mr. Demarest died Sunday in St. Peter's General Hospital in an iron lung. He was stricken with bulbar polio Wednesday and was admitted to the hospital the same day.

Funeral arrangements are being made by the Gowen Funeral Home, 233 Somerset St. New Brunswick.
