MY UNCLE
MARRIED MY MOM'S SISTER ROSE
My uncle was a pretty good guy. He loved the outdoors and loved to fish. When I was real young he use to live in northern MN a very beautiful part of our state. In later years he spent most of his life living in a home on a lake in western MN. He comes from a big family with many brothers and sisters. When I was young I can remember always looking forward to a weekend visit to see my aunt and uncle. He was the family clown. He always had a joke to tell and would clown around with us kids. I remember his great humor the most.
I remember one time we visited when I was very small. My Uncle Norman killed a chicken to cook for dinner. He chopped it's head off and the chicken jumped around on the ground with no head and came right towards me. Scared me to death. I wet my pants. So funny. I had to share that, too good a story to keep inside.
He served our country for two years in the Army.
I was amazed that my son Aaron and Uncle Norman are buried in the same section at Ft. Snelling.
Norman and Rose were blessed with 2 sons and 2 daughters.
1-William Sullivan.
2-Suzanne Sullivan married Richard Sutter.
3-Jennifer Sullivan married Patrick Naylon.
4-Norm Sullivan
Thank you for flowers you leave for my Uncle Norman.
