Josephine D. Abrams, 80, of Pompano Beach, FL, passed away Friday, June 30, 2000. A resident since 1970, formerly of Shrub Oak, NY. Josephine was a Cafeteria Manager with the Lakeland School District for 15 years. During the 80s and early 90s, Josephine was a volunteer for the Food For The Poor organization and with the St. Coleman School in Pompano Beach. She is survived by two loving daughters, Grace Mihalchik (David) of Stormville, NY and Jude Abrams of Pompano Beach, FL; two grandchildren, Corina Mihalchik (Christopher) of Danbury, CT and David Mihalchik of Boston, MA; sister, Amalia Calogero of NY; sister-in-law, Emma Volpe of Pompano Beach, FL, and dear friends, Louise Crocco, Paula Ferrante, Pauline Milano and Carol; as well as many other dear friends. The family requests contributions to Vitas Hospice Charitable Fund, 757 S.E. 17th St., Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Tuesday, July 4, 2000 at the KRAEER FUNERAL HOME, 200 N. Federal Highway Pompano Beach, FL. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am, Wednesday at St. Coleman Catholic Church of Pompano Beach. Interment to follow at Pompano Beach Cemetery.
