Louis Stofer
BELLEVILLE — The funeral for Louis Stofer, 74, Belleville, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Central Christian Church, Belleville, the Rev. Lon Hardy officiating. Mr. Stofer died Sunday at his home. He had retired after serving as an area sales representative for Central Auto Supply, Salina, and moved to Belleville 17 years ago from Beloit. He was a member of the Central Christian Church, the Scandia Masonic Lodge, Salina Consistory and was a past patron of the Order of Eastern Star at Beloit.
He had studied at the University of Nebraska and was graduated from the Williams Institute of Mortuary Science. He held an embalmer's license for more than 50 years.
Surviving are his wife, Genevieve and a brother, Jacob, Belleville.
Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery, Scandia.
