On Sept. 8, 1811 at Pawlet, VT, Prosper m. Polly Robinson, eldest surviving child of Capt. Ephraim Robinson and Mary Upham, b. June 15, 1793 at Pawlet. She d. Nov. 6, 1873 at Alma, NY. Polly was a descendant in the 7th generation of Rev. John Robinson and Bridget White, the former the pastor at Leiden, Holland of the core of the Pilgrims that sailed in 1620 on the Mayflower and founded the Plymouth Colony. Through her paternal gr. gr.mother Ruth (Fuller) Robinson, Polly was a descendant of Edward Fuller, one of the passengers of the 1620 Mayflower.
An elaborate obituary, albeit with much less genealogical material than desired, was published regarding Prosper's wife Polly. At the current writing, the memorialist has yet to determine who were all of the children. Hopefully, descendants will offer some assistance to that end.

A note from the g.s. photographer: "I photographed all the stones in Sunnyside Cemetery last fall for the Allegany County Historical Society. This stone has long been a favorite of mine since I was a child and my family acted as caretakers of this cemetery. It is unlike any other stone in this cemetery and unlike any others in the area."
