Claire Winifred (Cornwall) Boyd passed away on Monday, Aug. 23, 2010, at her home after several months of illness. She was 68.
Originally from Barrington, N.J., she was a longtime resident of Tabernacle.
Claire was the loving wife of Stanley P. Boyd for 47 years; devoted mother to her two daughters, Sharon (Boyd) Garcia of Barto, Pa. and Cheryl (Boyd) Disque of Williamstown, N.J. She was a wonderful mother-in-law to Andrew Garcia, also of Barto, Pa. and Andrew Disque, also of Williamstown, N.J.
Claire was an adoring grandmother to her five grandchildren: Airman First Class Jordan Christopher Garcia, Andrew James Garcia, Taylor Nicole Garcia, Ryan Boyd Disque, and Kayla Elizabeth Disque.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Nicholas Adam Garcia (Memorial Id 157167333); her brother, William Gilbert Cornwall; and her parents, Claire and William Cornwall of Barrington, N.J.
She lived every day of her life for her family and she will be missed greatly.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Bradley & Stow Funeral Home, 127 Medford-Mount Holly Road, Medford, where a memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday. Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
