He was born in Montgomery County and lived in the Vidalia area most of his life. He was a carpenter and a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Kibbee.
SURVIVORS: a sister, Helen Pittman of Tarrytown; a brother, Randolph Calhoun of Tarrytown; nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. today at Murchison Funeral Home, Vidalia.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Friday at Murchison Funeral Home, burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
