September 11, 1904 - "J.W. Edgett, who was well known here as a restauranteur, was reported today to be seriously ill at his summer home in Red Bank, N.J. Mr. Edgett is suffering from an infection of the throat. His old business on Fulton street is now in the hands of a relative, John Silsbee.
