Robert H. Shuff, 73, of Auburn, a police officer for the Auburn Police Department for 25 years, died Monday, Nov. 4, 2002, at home.

The DeKalb County native retired in 1987, was a Korean War Navy veteran and a member of Auburn First United Methodist Church. He was also a member of Loyal Order of Moose 566 and American Legion Post 202 in Butler.

Surviving are his wife, Betty; a son, Robert A. of Auburn; a daughter, Debra Kennedy of Auburn; brothers Chalmer of Phoenix, James of Garrett and William of Fontania, Calif.; sisters Jackie Walker, Jo Ann Mills, Fay Ells, Rosanne Kinsey and Janice Wittie, all of St. Joe, Mary J. Snook and Kate Clady, both of Garrett, Shirley Chapman of Butler, Claudia Hulbert of Auburn and Linda Sattison of Hamilton; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.

Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Feller Funeral Home, Waterloo, with calling from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
