Gerald Wood officiating. Interment to follow in Faith Baptist Church Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home Directing.
Mrs Kennedy was preceded in death by a husband, Ed Thornton; mother, Ollie Mae Conner; 2 sisters, Barbara Hall and Betty Faye Allen.
Survivors include her husband, John Kennedy of Wetumpka, AL; daughter, Becky Jackson (Wayne) of Wetumpka; 2 grandchildren, Justin Jackson (Catherine), Devin Jackson both of Wetumpka; 2 great-grandchildren, Jace and Kinslee Jackson; sister, Susan Gregory (Jim) of Montgomery, AL; brother, James Conner (Evelyn) of Wetumpka, AL; numerous nieces and nephews; in-laws, Sammie Kennedy (Jeanette), Shirley Tillery (Jim).
