Genevieve, the second of eight children, finsihed high school in Prentice, attended a business college in Minneapolis and worked as a secretary/typist in Minneapolis and Phillips. She married Axel Forsberg in 1920 and they took over the farm of her grandfather, Johannes Johnson. They raised chickens on the farm as well as two children, Charles and Jean. After much suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and three bouts with cancer, Genevieve died at Webster, Wisconin in 1951. [Written by Wallace Nelson, her brother, in 1980]
