Funeral services held at the Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem with Chester Hout presiding. Burial in Moravian Cemetery.
Mr. Higgins was born in Lancaster on May 21, 1885 to John and Sarah (Biehl) Higgins. He was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church in West Salem and for many years a director of the First State Bank in West Salem and a real estate agent.
He is survived by his wife, Eva, West Salem, two daughters, Norma Jean Bailey, West Salem and Marjorie Musgrave, Fairfield, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
