Milo Andrus Jensen, 73, of Emmett, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 1995, at his home of prostate cancer. Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept, 9, 1995, at 1 p.m. at the Emmett Stake Center, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 980 West Central Road, Emmett, the Bishop Duane Vickery conducted. Burial was under the direction of the Potter Funeral Chapel at the Emmett City cemetery. Milo and his twin sister, Elizabeth, were born Jan 1, 1922, in Holladay (Salt Lake City), Utah, to Hyrum Andrew and Ann Eliza Andrus Jensen. He spent his early childhood years at Huntsville, Utah. The family moved to Marion in the Kamas Valley, where they engaged in the dairy business. Milo graduated from South Summit High School in 1940. He was an outstanding athlete and an especially talented basketball player. He married Dorothy Ballard in the Salt Lake Temple on May 29, 1943. They moved to the Emmett Valley the spring of 1946, where he engaged in the farming and dairy businesses. Milo was also field man lot the Stokely Van Camp cannery for 17 years. Dorothy died Oct. 28, 1966. Milo married Margaret Parker June 28, 1967, in the Salt Lake Temple. Milo worked with the youth in scouting and athletic activities, and coached basketball and softball at the Hanna School for several years. Milo was a member of the Gem County Planning and Zoning board for a short time. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as Elder's Quorum President, Counselor in a bishopric and on a Stake High Council, and taught in many organizations. He and his wife Margaret served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from November, 1992 to November, 1993.

He is survived by his wife Margaret, of Emmett; a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Terri, of Murray, Utah, sons Ross, of Columbia, S.C., and Karl, of Emmett; five daughters and their husbands, Karen and Jay Findlay, of Snellville, Ga., Jeri and Paul Cannon of Salt Lake City, Michelle and James Jarman, and Meri Ann and Shane Farnsworth, of Provo, Utah, Maren and Blake Beazer, of Alta Loma, Calif., and a son-in-law, Lynn Gurey, of Emmett, 25 grandchildren, and one great-grandson; brothers William, of West Valley, Utah, and Willard, of Ontario, Ore.; sisters, Elana Goodworth and Eizabeth Lefler, of Kamas, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Willis and Jacob A.; two sisters, Mildred and Elaine; a daughter, Kathryn Jensen Gurney, and one grandson, Yale Jay.
