JAMES R. POOPOR DIES AFTER SHORT ILLNESS
Dalton, May 25 - James Robert Poopor, 21, son of Mr and Mrs Bart Poopor, Sr., of 96 Curtis avenue, died today following a short illness. He was born May 11, 1924, and spent most of his life in Dalton. He was a graduate of Dalton high school in the class of 1943, and was a member of St Agnes church and the Holy Name society.
Survivors include his parents, two brothers, Bart Poopor, Jr., of Dalton and Edmund of Akron, O., one sister, Mrs Edward Galliher of Dalton. The funeral will be held at 9 Monday morning with high mass at St Agnes church. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery. Friends may call at the Foley funeral home on Main street tomorrow from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 and Sunday afternoon from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10.
