Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Pruessner, wife of the late Herman Pruessner, were held Friday morning, July 9, in St. Peter's Evangelical Church at Washington, Mo. Interment was made in the church cemetery.

Anna Pruessner, nee Steffn, was born at Marthasville, Mo., on Feb. 20, 1864. She spent her childhood days, received her education, and grew to womanhood in the Marthasville community. She was married to Herman Pruessner on Feb. 27, 1890 at Holstein, Mo. They made their home at New Haven, Mo., coming to Washington in 1929. This union was blessed with four children, one son and three daughters.

The deceased has been in ill health for the past two years and was confined to her home during the past year. She was called to rest Tuesday morning, July 6, 1943, from the home of her daughter in Washington, with whom she resided in later years. She attained the age of 79 years, 4 months and 16 days. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 11, 1931.

Deceased was a member of the ladies' aid of the St. Peters Evangelical Church.
