Ray Ostrander Met Shocking End
Ray Ostrander, a well known Smethport man was killed in a shocking manner while working on a gas well of the Crosby Gas Company in Crosby last Thursday.
A pole derrick broke and he was crushed by the derrick crashing onto him.
He was born in Keating township near this borough 42 yeras ago, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Porter Ostrander.
He is survived by sisters Mrs. Fay Abbey of Smethport and Mrs. Maude Courhenn of Kane.
