Miss Emma Antoinette Davidson, formerly of Apalachin, died in San Francisco, Cal, Aug 29, aged 38 years, Millard Boyce, an uncle, accompanied the remains to Apalachin, where the funeral services were held Friday, Sept 7, at 1 o'clock in the M E church, conducted by Rev W H Stang of Little Meadows, Pa, assisted by Rev E A Martin. The pall-bearers were W B Noteware, H Stanley Gould, George Beebe, S Hills, S Glover and Bert Stevens. The interment was made in the family plot in Riverside cemetery. Miss Davidson spent several years as a trained nurse in New York, California and other cities in the United States. About two years ago she went to Honolulu as a missionary. Owing to failing health, she returned to California last May, where ehe entered a hospital and remained until her death. She is survived by her parents, Mr and Mrs Lucius Davidson of Apalachin Center, a brother, George Davidson of Gloversville, and a sister, Mrs May Purple Rhodes of New Mexico, besides Beveral uncles and aunts.—Binghamton Leader.
