Corp. George Wellington Foster died on April 12, 1888 in Cuttingsville, VT. He was born on April 10, 1840 in Weathersfield, VT; the son of Tyler Gilman and Dorinda Cross (Harvey) Foster.

He married Leora Adams on August 5, 1862.

He is survived by his wife and son Fred.

Burial will be in Laurel Glen Cemetery in Cuttingsville, VT.
