Claude Tyler, 77, of Lyons, died Thursday in Lansing. He was a retired self-employed welder and a member of Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Louise; three sons, Claude D. Jr. of Goodrich, Jack of Lyons, and Gary of Lansing; four daughters, Marie Thorn and Ruth Janes of Grand Ledge, and Connie Lucini and Joyce Warren of Lansing; 11 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two sisters, Geraldine Richardson and Irene Whitaker of Charlotte. He was preceded in death by one son, Clyde L. Tyler.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Capital City Church of God, with the Rev. Dan Stoneham officiating. The family will be at the Holihan-Atkin Funeral Home in Grand Ledge, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in the Lyons Cemetery.
