Merle S. Bucher Jr., 25, of Irishtown Rd, New Oxford, died Wednesday, Oct. 15, in University of Maryland Hospital, Baltimore, Md.

Born April 27, 1972 in Hanover, he was the son of Merle S. Sr. and Sharron Coffman Bucher of Hanover.

He was a member of Missionary Bible Baptist Church, Hanover.
He was employed with Tracey Landscaping, Reisterstown, Md.

Surviving in addition to his parents are four daughters, Kaela Nicole Bucher of Mount Joy, Shanntel Marie Bucher of Shrewsburg, Jennifer Rebecca Bucher and Kelsey Lynn Bucher, both at home; one brother, Phillip L. Bucher of Hanover, one sister, Tonya L. Forbes of Hanover; paternal grandmother Lula M. Bucher of Fairfield; maternal grandmother, Pauline M. Coffman of Rouzerville; and his fiancee, Rebecca Kay Miller.

He was predeceased by paternal grandfather, George D. Bucher, and maternal grandfather, the Rev. Lloyd A. Coffman Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, in Wetzel Funeral Home, Hanover, with Dr. Richard H. Bish officiating. Interment will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover.
