Ben C. Bishop II, age 75 of Edmond, born February 21, 1909 in Guthrie, died January 10, 1985, in Oklahoma City. He was a retired contract hauler for Oklahoma Publishing Company. Raised Airedales and owned Bishop Kennels.

Survivors include his wife, Oklahoma, of the home; son, Benjamin C. Bishop III of Edmond; 3 daughters, Shirley Peterson of Hilo Hawaii, Loretta Burkes and Karen Bishop, both of Oklahoma City; 2 sisters, Eleanor Hand and John Anne Kueteman, both of Oklahoma City; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, January 14, 1985, in the Smith & Kernke Funeral Chapel, with burial to be in the Rose Hill Burial Park.
