Bernice A. Jenkins Ringgold Age 62, of Elkton, MD, died December 13, 2001. Mrs. Ringgold was a member of Rehoboth Church of God, Middletown, DE. involved with fundraising, the Senior Choir and the Mother of the Church.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Lillian Reyes.
She is survived by 6 children, Victoria Banks, Malinda Ringgold, Roxanne Peters, Alison Ringgold, Charles Ringgold, Johnny Ringgold; 3 brothers Calvin and Harold Jenkins, James Jenkins; 5 sisters, Gladys McCloud, Jeanette Hunter, Josephine Christy, Linda May and Mary Ann Vazquez; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 22 at 12 noon in First Pentecostal Church, 250 Booth St., Elkton, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Interment in Union Bethel Cemetery, Cecilton, MD. Arrangements by GALENA FUNERAL HOME of Stephen L. Schaech.
