Ruth DeSpain Loyall, age 91 of Summersville, died Friday May 19, 2000 in the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. She was a member of the Aetna Grove Baptist Church in Green County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elzy F. DeSpain and Mary Susan "Sudie" Marcum DeSpain; 3 daughters: Margaret Dean Loyall, Mildred Pruitt and Nora Maxine Hounshell. She is survived by 3 daughters: Louise Bell of Summersville, Dorine Strader and Bernice Underwood both of Hodgenville; four sons: G. R. Loyall of Covington, Donald Loyall of Kansas City, Missouri; Johnnie Loyall Jr., of Summersville; and Ronnie Loyall of Hodgenville; 29 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday May 22 in the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia. Rev. Odell Warren and Rev. Dewayne Dobson officiated. Burial was in the Perkins Cemetery in Green County.
