Bill was born in Austin, Texas to Jack Joseph Pressley and Myra Ann Price. He was the grandson of Julius Estace and Lottie Cadell Pressley and Theo and Sallie Will Erwin Price. Bill was one of the first students to attend McCallum High School while it was still a combined Junior and Senior High School.
Bill married Linda Gail Randall on 12/8/1960 in San Marcos, TX. Bill and Linda had 3 sons, William Morris, Jr; Jon Dean and Michael Joseph. They divorced in 1971.
While married to Linda he was an Austin Fire-fighter and worked in construction on his off-days. He also was called to duty while he was in the National Guard during the Cuban Missle Crisis. About 1968, Bill moved his family to Turtle Creek, TX where he worked for several plants in the area.
Bill married again on 3/16/1973 in Brazoria County, TX to Ray Nell Shrum. Bill and Ray Nell had 1 son, Kevin Wayne. Bill later adopted Ray Nell's sons by a previous marriage, Gene Allen and Keith Gordon. Bill and Ray Nell had been separated for several years at the time of Bill's death.
Bill also had 2 sisters, Nancy and Sue.
