While married to Linda he was an Austin Fire-fighter and worked in construction on his off-days. He also was called to duty while he was in the National Guard during the Cuban Missle Crisis. About 1968, Bill moved his family to Turtle Creek, TX where he worked for several plants in the area.
Bill married again on 3/16/1973 in Brazoria County, TX to Ray Nell Shrum. Bill and Ray Nell had 1 son, Kevin Wayne. Bill later adopted Ray Nell's sons by a previous marriage, Gene Allen and Keith Gordon. Bill and Ray Nell had been separated for several years at the time of Bill's death.
Bill also had 2 sisters, Nancy and Sue.

William Morris ``Bill'' Presley, 61, a native of Austin, passed away unexpectedly on November 4, 2002, at his home in Webster, TX. Born April 14, 1941, in Austin, he was the son of Jack Joseph Presley and Myra Ann (Price) Presley. He was a 1960 graduate of McCallum High School. He served with the National Guard during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He also had been an Austin firefighter in the 1960s before moving to south Texas where he lived the remainder of his life. Survivors include his wife, Ray Nell Presley of Angleton; sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Paula McCutcheon of Grand Prairie; Jon and Micki McCutcheon of Carrollton; Michael and Julie McCutcheon of Flower Mound; Allen and Tamara Presley of Angleton; sons, Keith Presley of Plano; and Kevin Presley of Webster. He is also survived by granddaughters, Alicia Wingfield of Dodge City, KS, and Michelle Wingfield of Grand Prairie; grandsons, Timothy, Nathan and Adam McCutcheon of Carrollton; granddaughter, Brittney McCutcheon and grandson, Matthew McCutcheon of Flower Mound; grandsons, Allen and Joshua Presley and granddaughters, Stephanie and Beverly Presley of Angleton; one great-grandson, Jacob Tubbs of Hills City, KS; sisters, Nanci of Kenmore, WA, and Sue Presley of Austin; nephew, Chris Adams of Austin, and niece, Shannon Nokes of Kirkland, WA; grandnieces, Therese Adams of Austin and Camille Nokes of Kirkland, WA. He is also survived by his aunt, Rachel Price of Austin and many cousins. Preceded in death by his father and mother, his uncle, Don Price of Austin and his granddaughter, Geri Chiyo McCutcheon of Grand Prairie. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 12, 2002, between 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home in Webster, TX. Graveside services will follow. Bill will be buried at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster.
