Mr. parsons, a resident of kennett, had been employed at the insurance company 11 years. He was a former Poplar Bluff resident and was born March 3, 1939, in Butler County. Nov. 8, 1961 he was married to Lora Luttrull in Poplar Bluff. Mr. Parsons served in the U.S. navy from 1956 to 1960 and was of the Pentecost faith.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Ronald Parsons of the home; his mother, Bertie Parsons of Poplar Bluff; seven sisters, mary Lee laFond, Barbara Corbin, Linda Parsons and Judy Parsons, all of Poplar Bluff, Marie Richmond of Naylor, Naideen Irvin of Broseley and Lana McElWrath of Clarksville, TN; four brothers, Rev. Donald Parsons and Jerry Parsons, both of Poplar Bluff, Leonar parsons of highland, IL and Karl parsons of Blytheville, AR.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Fitch Funeral Home. The Rev. N.A. Haynes will officiate. Burial will be in Sparkman Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 7 tonight.
