Agnes Thornton was the daughter of James Thornton and his wife Elizabeth Jenkins. She was the sister of Dr. Matthew Thornton, delegate from the State of New Hampshire to the Continental Congress, and a Signer of the Declaration of Independence. Agnes Thornton married John Wason, Senior in March of 1735 at Leicester, Worcester County, Massachusetts.

Gravesite Details

The headstone for Agnes Wasson has crumbled and is today unreadable. Contemporary deeds and the Wasson Family Bible confirm the placement of this grave.
