Former Sauk Centreite dies

Darlene H. Munton, 45, a former resident of Sauk Centre, died Monday, Oct. 4, 1976, at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. She was a resident of 625 E. 14th Ave. So., Minneapolis.

She was born May 17, 1931, in North Dakota to Bert and Esther Dickison Martin. She came to Sauk Centre shortly after her birth with her parents, but had made her home in Minneapolis since moving there with her parents at the age of 13.

Survivors include a son, Ralph; three daughters, Linda, Debbie and Cynthia of Minneapolis; her father, Bert M. Martin of Little Falls; and two sisters, Mrs. Marlyn Ann Richner of Little Falls and Mrs. Betty Sather of Brooklyn Center.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct, 8, at the Schad Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Curtis Wilbur officiating. Soloist was Mrs. Joyce Lyng and organist was Miss Debra Sieben. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.
