Dora was married first to Cassie Moore Eddings. Cassie was in the Navy and they moved to San Diego. Cassie died out there and Dora was pregnant with her 3rd child, she had to accompany the body back to Vermont on the train, with 2 children, her son suffering from rickets.
A few years later she married Herbert Warren Gordon Redden and moved to Waltham. Dora was a cashier for the H. P. Hood company.
Dora was very active at the Beth Eden Baptist Church. She was very good at crocheting & knitting and made many afghans for church fundraising as well as many afghans for the channel 2 auctions.
